How to Find Us:

Parking Lot Closures and Detours beginning December 18th

In order to maintain University operations, and support future growth of the Storrs campus in line with the University Master Plan, it is necessary to repair and upgrade the numerous utilities that are located underneath and adjacent to North Eagleville Road, and improve the overall safety and appearance of the corridor.

Please note: Client parking spaces are available between the Torey Life Science building and the Atwater Laboratory. Three parking spaces have been allotted to CVMDL clients. For clients who have been to the laboratory before, this is a movement of parking from between the Atwater Laboratory and the Chemistry building to the opposite side of the Atwater Laboratory.

Restricted access to the necropsy room unloading area will be maintained during this phase of construction. For large stock trailers we ask that you go directly to the necropsy unloading area located within the construction gates in the Chemistry/Atwater side of the building. Only these vehicles should go directly to the unloading area. Call the laboratory receiving staff at 860-486-3738 and we will meet you at the necropsy entrance.

All other submissions should first park in one of the three allotted client spaces on the Torey/Atwater side of the building. If you are delivering an animal intended for necropsy or rabies testing, we ask that the animal remain in your vehicle. Please follow signs to the Client Reception area and CVMDL staff will work with you to complete submittal paperwork. Once we have completed the submittal forms we will direct you to the animal unloading area located within the construction fence on the Chemistry/Atwater side of the building.

We appreciate your continued understanding during this and all UConn improvement projects.
