Slide scanning services are temporarily unavailable to external researchers while service fees are being established. This page will be updated when services become available.
Histology TAT
Generally, 10 business days once received into the Histology Lab.
Please note: Pathology has it's own TAT. If you have requested Pathology Trimming Services and/or Pathology Slide Interpretation, these are not included in the Histology TAT.
Factors That May Affect Histology TAT
- Incomplete Submission Form/errors with Sample Submission
- Communication Delays
- Larger-sized Projects
- Projects with additional staining
- Highly detailed projects
- Holidays, vacations, sick days and university closings
We will keep you updated if any of these factors affect your Histology TAT via email.

Please note: Each submission will be charged a $7 Accessioning Fee.

Paraffin Processing Only (No Embedding)-$2 each Cassette
H&E Staining-$20 each Slide
Special Staining-$20 each Slide
Unstained Section on Charged Slide-$7 each slide
Additional Section on Slide-$2 each additional section (on same slide)
