Tick Identification ONLY
$10.00 identification + $7.00 accessioning fee = $17.00
(Note: Tick ID is included with the PCR test selections below.) 

Lyme Disease (testing for Borrelia Burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease)
$50.00 PCR test + $7.00 accessioning fee = $57.00
(Note: if the submitted tick species has not been shown to transmit the bacteria, then only the Tick identification will be charged and reported.)

Comprehensive Diagnostic PCR panel. ( $87.00 - $127.00 )

  • Test for all available pathogens for the species of tick submitted and host
  • Includes Tick Identification
  •  Includes a measurement of engorgement

  • Deer Tick: (Human Host)- Borrelia burgdorferi, Anaplasma phagocytophilum, Babesia microti, Borrelia miyamotoi

  • Deer Tick: (Non-Human Host)- Borrelia burgdorferi, Anaplasma phagocytophilum, Borrelia miyamotoi 
    $100.00 PCR test + $7.00 accessioning fee = $107.00
  • Dog Tick: Francisella tularensis, Rickettsia rickettsii, Ehrlichia species
    $100.00 PCR test + $7.00 accessioning fee = $107.00
  • Lone Star Tick: Francisella tularensis, Ehrlichia species, Borrelia lonestari
    $120.00 PCR test + $7.00 accessioning fee = $127.00
  • Brown Dog Tick: Rickettsia rickettsii, Ehrlichia species
    $80.00 PCR test + $7.00 accessioning fee = $87.00

RUSH Service ( $25.00 ) 
Results are available in two business days if the tick is received prior to 2 pm.                

Please note:  Prepayment is not required.  Fees are incurred regardless of testing outcome (positive or negative). An invoice will be mailed the month following your submission, and payment by credit card online or by check through the mail can then be made.  Or, if you prefer, please call our office (860-486-3738) to make a credit card payment over the phone once you receive your report.
